I'm back in Hawaii for a few days visiting my boyfriend and if you've been following me on Twitter & Instagram (username KerriRee) you would know that I was more than excited to be back. It's been so cold in the bay area so I was looking forward to a little sun shine. I'll try to do a few posts while I am here, but I definitely need the time to relax. 

One thing I have learned about traveling here is that less is more. I used to pack WAY too much but with the weather being so different I've cut down to what I consider "the essentials". Since I'm sweating most of the time I try not to wear any makeup because it just melts right off my face. So to avoid wasting foundation I've just stuck to applying some of the lighter/shimmery shades from my Urban Decay Naked Palette. It gives my eyes some pop without making me look like I gave up on life. 

For my hair I try to avoid using any heat products because it's just too damn hot to use any extra heat. My hair tends to poof for no reason so I spritz my hair with Bumble and Bumble's Surf Spray and it gives my hair those beach waves but weighs it down so I don't look like a clown. Lastly, other than the necessary sun block, I just use L'Occitane's lip balm to keep my lips from getting too dry. This makes packing so much easier.
